Throwback Thursday with LtCol Mike Duc

This is the start of a new occasional feature called Throwback Thursday. In this episode, we are featuring LtCol Mike Duc. This image is LtCol Duc with an A-10, the famous Burrrrtttt airplane. He was an A-10 pilot from 1983 to 1997 where he served as an Instructor, Search and Rescue and a Forward Air Controller. 

LtCol Duc joined the USAF in 1971 and from 1974 to 1978 he attended the United States Air Force Academy. After graduating from flight school, he was an instructor pilot in T-38s before his transition to the A-10. After the Air Force, LtCol Duc was a Southwest Airlines Pilot flying 737's.

He has been a FAA Flight Instructor Since 1980 (CFI, CFII ,Single and Multi Engine) and has logged over 21,000 Hours including 2000+ hours as an instructor. He also has his own plane, a 1962 Mooney, that he loves to fly when not flying CAP planes.
